Need to locate land grant and revolutionary service mentioned on the roadside marker: "Early South Frankfort - This site is part of 500-acre land grant (1782) to Revolutionary War soldier George Campbell, who served with George Rogers Clark."
He passed away in 1815. [24]

I just have not had time to add them to this profile. PLEASE feel free to add any and all information or children you have in your research. This is NOT my ancestor. I come from George Campbell 1720-1791 Amherst Co VA. Over the course of 23 years researching all the Campbell families I found information on neighbors. Best regards, Lilly Martin
Nancy Campbell b. 1764 VA d. 1835 Woodford Co, KY. Married Michael Kirkham b. August 29, 1746 Augusta, VA. d. February 03, 1835 Lexington, Woodford, KY. Married 1768 Augusta, VA. Son is Robert J. Kirkham b. 1785 KY d. 1860 Bibb Co, GA.
Prudence Campbell b. 1766 VA d. 1845 Daviess Co KY. Married Samuel Kirkham b. 1744 d. after 1821 Daviess Co KY. Children: James and Nancy.
These are the children I do have for Samuel and Preudence:
Elizabeth KIRKHAM b.c. 1770 m. Charles More Nancy KIRKHAM b.c. 1774 m. William Jameson Henry KIRKHAM b.c. 1776 m. Mary Rodgers James KIRKHAM b.c. 1778 m. Sarah Rodgers Lucy KIRKHAM b.c. 1780 m. Matthew Kelly Sally KIRKHAM b.c. 1782 m. Thomas Fowler Jenny KIRKHAM b.c. 1784 m. James Wright
> Phebe Kirkham married Samuel Campbell > and Samuel's sisters, Prudence and Agnes Nancy Campbell married > Kirkhams, maybe a David and a Michael.
> Samuel Kirkham(Abt. 1744 Augusta Co., VA- Aft. December 6, 1821 Davies > Co., KY) married Prudence Campbell (born prob VA-Aft. 1820 VA) with 8 > children.
In the 1850 census for Scott County VA, I think our George Sr at age 90 is living with Campbell. My George 1793 is living nearby. I'm just wondering if I missed some children.
Another observation: a man name Robert Brown Jr travelled the area in 2003 and documented the Vineyard line. He mentioned that the Brown family was intermingled with the following families: Brown, Kirkham (from Maryland?), Bell, Campbell, Vineyards, Tollett (from Maryland?) and the Frances Orrell Family. I have always grown my tree by branching out with the children and their marriages. This may help with the Campbells, the Vineyards, the Kirkhams. I will keep searching....but I certainly appreciate the above information.
