He was the son of William Peter Campbell and Margaret Flett, who were married between 1802 and 1849 in Findochty, Rathven, Banfffshire, Scotland. Their children included: John Campbell, George Campbell and John Campbell.[2]
John Campbell died in 1899 in 5 King St., Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland.[3]
