Mary Campbell was believed to have been born about 1704 in County Donegal, Ireland, though some suggest possibly Scotland about 1710. She was the putative daughter of James Campbell and is thought to be the first wife of Moses White, the son of Hugh White and possibly died about 1728 in Pennsylvania, shortly after coming to America.
Mary is not believed to be the daughter of Margaret Beard, who did not marry James Campbell until 1720.
Mary is not mentioned in the will of James Campbell as she would have died previously; but she is mentioned in family histories of several descendants, although not well sourced.

Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Campbell-30348 and Campbell-5137 are not ready to be merged because: While names and husbands appear to be the same, there are major discrepancies in birth and death dates. Campbell-30348 has a lot of unverified information and it can’t be conclusively determined. I believe it could be an error with the name and this person could be Moses’ other wife. More research is required for the relationship to the daughter.
Campbell-5340 and Campbell-5137 appear to represent the same person because: Same name and husband. Birth may need resolving but profile represents the same individual.
Campbell-9821 and Campbell-5137 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be duplicate profiles of the same woman, Mary Campbell, although differences in vital statistics should be further researched. Thanks.
