Sarah was born about 1829. She is the daughter of Donald Campbell and Catherine McKinnon. She is buried in the Drayton and Toowomba Cemetery, Queensland. [1]

On the marriage date of 1844 Sarah would have been 15 years of age married to William Horton 27. Marriage at this age was not uncommon but required permission. The marriage register entry shows marriage by licence. This does not resolve the issue as on the proposed date of 1825 Sarah would have been a more 'respectable' 19 years old but still subject to permission.
On inspection of the headstone inscription on Find A Grave it seems reasonably clear that the age at death in 1865 is 35 which is consistent with a birth year of around 1830 matching the immigration record.
