Annas Campbell has French origins.

Annas was born circa 1565.^[1] She married as outlined in a formal Marriage Contract of 1572. John Campbell on 29 Mar 1586.^[2]

Anna's will is recorded on 24 Dec 1596.^[3]

Research Notes

• In “The Clan Campbell” Vol VI Books on Council and Session pages 23 & 24 a Marriage Contract date of Jan. 23,1572 was written for daughter Annas Campbell It was an agreement between father Colin Campbell and brother Duncan related to the father’s plans of daughter Annas’ marriage to one John Campbell. Annas was the daughter of Colin. Campbell of Glenurquhy and his 2nd wife Katherine Ruthven who were married sometime before June 15,1561. ^[4] There is autosomal evidence that suggests that Elizabeth Ruthven is the mother, but it must be triangulated before this can even be considered.
