Biography

Colin (Campbell) Campbell IIIrd Lord of Glenurchy is a member of Clan Campbell.

Colin was the son of Duncan Campbell and Margaret Douglas.[1]

His sons inherited one after the other being the 4th, 5th and 6th lords. Colin, the 6th lord, married a Margaret Stewart, which potentially leads to confusion but actually his mother, the wife of the 3rd lord who we are discussing, seems not to have been named Margaret or Margery, but Mariote.
