Biography

Mary Louisa "Louisa" Campbell was born on Jan 25, 1870 in Union Grove, Iredell, North Carolina, USA.^[1] She is the daughter of Theophelus Campbell II and Rebecca C. Minish. She married Iram Green Reid on May 2, 1892 in Iredell County, North Carolina.^[2] She died on Feb 21, 1940 in Union Grove and is buried at Zion Baptist Church in Iredell County.^[3]

Louisa and Iram had nine children:

1. Lottie Esther Reid (1893-1967)^[4]
2. Attie Lee Reid (1895-1951)^[5]
3. Clinton Albert Reid (1897-1963)^[6]
4. Claude Summers Reid (1900-1950)^[7]
5. Comma Gwyn Reid (1903-1973)^[8]

9. Arthur Eugene Reid (1916-1976)^[12]

Their niece, Lucy Bennet, was living with them during the 1920 and 1930 Census. Their grandchildren, Ramon and Geraldine Reid, were living with them during the 1940 Census.
