Biography

1821: Cornelia Ann Campbell was born on the 29th April 1821[1], the youngest daughter of Archibald Algernon Campbell and Sarah Epes of Nottoway County, Virginia, USA.[2]

1846: Cornelia married Edwin Burwell Jones on about the 18th February 1846 in Nottoway County, Virginia[2]. Her husband was a son of Thomas Williamson Jones and Mary Armistead Goode. There is at least one other published genealogy that states they were married on the 17th February 1846.[3]

1878: Cornelia Campbell Jones died on the 19th of May 1878 in Brunswick County, Virginia[2]. She was originally buried in the family cemetery "Millsite" but in 2001 her grandson Campbell Chambliss had the headstones removed to the Good Shepherd Church Cemetery in McKenny, Dinwiddie County, Virginia due to the "desolate condition" of the Millsite Cemetery.[4]
