After the death of her first husband Jacob Epting, Mary married John Adam Wicker, Jr., about 1820. She is buried in the Wicker Family Graveyard, #1, which is located about 12 miles east of Newberry, SC.[1]
Mary's daughter, Sarah Epting, born 4 April 1802, died 1882, daughter of Jacob Epting and Mary Cannon, married George Adam Setzler, born about 1790. Children:
Henry Y. Setzler, born about 1821, married Terzy Fulmer.
George Adam Setzler, born 1827, died 1878, married Elizabeth Thompson Peaster, born 1837, died 1881/2. Both are buried in Beth Eden Lutheran Church Cemetery, Winston Co., Miss.
Mary Ann Setzler, born 16 October 1830, died 6 September 1906, (buried St. Philip's Lutheran Church Cemetery), married Alexander Crumpton, born about 1832, died CSA.
Nancy Caroline Setzler, born 25 November 1835, died 11 April 1929, married 17 February 1854, Cornelius Dickert, born 8 July 1828, died 14 May 1877. Buried in Beth Eden Lutheran Church Cemetery.[2]
