Samantha Cantrell was born in February 1850 (alternate birth dates: 1900 census 1850; death certificate 1851). She was the daughter of Jabin Cantrell and Fannie Christian. She passed away in July 1920 in Palo Pinto County, Texas[1] and is buried in Authon Cemetery, Parker County, Texas.
William and Samantha are in Parker County with children William E., Hattie, Emma, Charles, Pearl, Lawson, and Flora. According to the census, two children died before 1900. John, listed in 1880, is not present so presumed to have died. The other child is unknown.
