Biography
Isaac was a private in the 126 IL infantry. Isaac died of small pox. he was first buried in LaGrange. His body was moved to National Cemetery in Memphis, TN after war. His name was written in chalk on his coffin. The wagon carrying his and other coffins was caught in a rain and the names washed off. Consequently They were buried in unknown plots.[1]

Steele's army, participating in the capture of Little Rock, Sept. 10. The remainder of its term of service was spent in Arkansas, and it was mustered out at Pine Bluff on June 4, and July 12, 1865.
