She married Elisha Scott on October 29, 1810. Elisha was born December 4, 1779, son of Samuel and Bathsheba (Newell) Scott of Bellingham, Massachusetts. [1][3]
Nancy died on February 19, 1860 at Providence, Rhode Island and is buried in the Scott Cemetery, Bellingham. Her inscription reads: In memory of Nancy Scott Widow of Elisha Scott, youngest daughter of Philip & Pricisilla Capron, born at Cumberland RI, died at Providence RI, age 76 years & 4 months[4]
Children
Fanny born October 28, 1813 in Providence; married Harris J. Mowry on June 15, 1834, as his third wife. Fanny died at Sheboygan, Wisconsin on September 28, 1850. [1]
Sarah born January 14, 1816[1]; died August 27, 1832 in her 17th year. [2][5]
Philip Capron born November 22, 1817 in Manville/Smithfield, Rhode Island; married first on April 4, 1841 at Grafton, Massachusetts, Catharine Hill Holbrook who was born in Bellingham November 30, 1813. He married second, Mrs. Mary E. Sherman of Woonsocket on February 19, 1870. [1][6][7]
Elisha Jr. born April 16, 1819; married on February 25, 1841, Maranda Capron, daughter of Burrill and Abigail Capron. [1][2]
