There were three Wm Parker in Halifax at the same time frame. Wm, Mirey Creek, son of Drusilla Parker of Miery Creek. My line of Hudson/Parker of Difficult Creek, Clover and Black Walnut Creek. And the Wm. Parkers of Hunting Creek. Richard Cardwell married Pheobe Legrand daughter of 314 John Legrand VPB 34:396 10 Aug 1759 400a Lunenburg/ head branches of Hunting Creek (Indenture: John LeGrand sold to Richard Cardwell of Cumberland county for the sum of 12 and 16 schillings 200 acres granted to John LeGrand by patent, the same lying in the county of Halifax, on both sides of Beaver Dam Branch, beginning at John Sparrows, hickory, etc. - signature John LeGrand (Deed Book 1, p. 13; dated 21 Nov 17,1752.
