Carew-111 and Carey-1642 appear to represent the same person because: Son Thomas has been removed. The merge should now proceed with the LNAB of Carey retained.

Carey-1642 and Carew-111 do not represent the same person because: Show confirmation of son Thomas in Carew-111 prior to merge request. Reject Merge until confirmation.

Son Thomas has been removed as there's nothing which suggests that he's at all related to John Middleton or his wife Martha. This profile seems to stem from a mistyping of Martha Carey's name in this book: https://books.google.com/books?id=Fck_AAAAcAAJ&pg=PA220&lpg=PA220&dq=john+earl+of+middleton+martha+carew&source=bl&ots=TnPvI0PSnf&sig=ACfU3U2TRyoL1fgPomDc8mFuuKiF8-8CGw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj0kvKIjr7qAhVSds0KHRPvAVkQ6AEwAnoECAYQAQ#v=onepage&q=john%20earl%20of%20middleton%20martha%20carew&f=false

The marriage date in the book matches up with the known marriage year of Martha Carey and John Middleton making the idea of Martha Carew simply being a mistyping of Martha Carey seem very likely to me at least. As a result, I think Carey-1642 and Carew-111 should be merged.
