Daughter of John Carew IV of Haccombe (Newton Abbot) in Devon.

Christian Carew^[1] was born circa 1525 at Haccombe, Devon, England.

She married her first husband, Sir Richard Brooke, son of Thomas Brooke and Elizabeth Starkey, in June 1548. He died in 1569. His widow, Christian (Carew) Brooke, then married Ralph Done, Esq., son of Richard Done, Esq. and Catherine Legh, after 1569; it was a 2nd marriage for both.^[2]

She died in November 1610 in England, the exact place is not known.
