You tagged your research interest in England. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.
Thank you for joining WikiTree and good luck with your research.

As you add family profiles, use the green tabs near the top of each profile to see what info will be visible to others - just toggle between private and public views. Not sure how to start? Visit How to Use Wikitree for instructions. If you need help, ask a question in our G2G forum. Most WikiTree members, including myself, are eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist. If you need additional help using WikiTree, our Mentors Project is a great group of volunteers who will be glad to assist you. Looking for some great ways to help out our collective effort? The Volunteers Needed page is the place to go! Dont forget to check out our Question of the What is the craziest online genealogy "fact" (really fiction) that you've come across?

The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? You will soon get an email from us that will have some great links to get you started on WikiTree. When you confirm your email address, youll have an option to volunteer to add new information to WikiTree. At that time you may also be asked to add tags to your profile. (Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. that you'd like to track.) .Once you volunteer, myself or another one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way! Feel free to contact me anytime.
Welcome to the family! Were really glad youre here.
