Biography

Leon Carlisle was enumerated as son of the head of household at Alachua, Alachua County, Florida for the May 2, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1906 in Florida and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James W Carlisle, wife Elen Carlisle, son Ernest Carlisle, daughter Bessie Carlisle, daughter Loca Carlisle, daughter Marie Carlisle, daughter Hessie Carlisle and son Baby Carlisle.[1]

Leon N Carlisle was enumerated as son of the head of household at Newberry, Alachua County, Florida for the March 23, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1907 in Florida and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James W Carlisle, wife Ellen O Carlisle, daughter Marie Carlisle, daughter Hessie Carlisle, daughter Hazel Carlisle and daughter Louise Carlisle.[2]

Leon Nelson Carlisle is buried at Forest Grove Cemetery in Alachua, Alachua County, Florida.[3]
