Biography

Mrs Alvin Boles, 71, died at the home of her son, Walter Boles, in the Aaron Chapel vicinity January 2, having been stricken three hours before her death. Her husband, Alvin Boles, died five years ago. Surviving are four sons, Joe Bob of Kentucky, Benton of Florida, Ellis of Cookeville, and Walter of Overton County; and several grandchildren and one sister, Mrs Susan Taylor, and one brother, George Carlisle of Jackson County. Funeral services were conducted at Maxwell Chapel by the Rev Dawson B Hammons of the Baptist church, with burial at the Maxwell Chapel cemetery.
