Biography
Gwen and Wilf met while they were serving in WWII. Wilf was a F/Lt in the 437 "Husky" Squadron R.C.A.F. He was awarded 5 service medals and a D.F.C. (Distinguished Flying Cross). Gwen was a member of the British Entertainment Corps (E.N.H.S.A.). Gwen was awarded 2 service medals.
Gwen and Wilf raised their family, living and working in many different places over the years: Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Kamloops, Pentiction, Kenora Ontario and Maple Ridge. After Gwen's passing, Wilf moved back to his childhood home of Midway, B.C. He enjoyed gardening, hunting/shooting and fishing .. and did a bit of eveything in his retirement.
