Biography
Robert Ruscombe Carpenter was born on 22 May 1869 to Robert Carpenter and Louisa Carpenter nee Lawrance. The family were living at 7 Windsor Court, St James, Bristol. His father was a Labourer Mason at the time of Robert's birth.
He married Emma Taylor, Robert's marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1892 in the Wandsworth district.[1]
They had a son, Leonard Lawrence, in 1907 when Robert was 38 and Emma was 36.
He died in Wandsworth in 1914, age 45.
