He married Hannah Strong on 4 March 1690, in Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 5 daughters. He died on 18 April 1738, in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, United States, at the age of 74, and was buried in Nathan Hale Cemetery, Coventry Lake, Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, United States.
