MRS. SADIE CARPENTER

Mrs. Sadie Carpenter, 80, died Wednesday night at Memorial Hospital, Osage. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. O. J. Mortensen, Lyle.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Rose Luense. Mason City, and Mrs. Mortensen (Laura); two sons, Cecil W. Luense. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Dale Luense, Redding. Calif.; two brothers, Alva Carpenter and Delbert Carpenter, Strawberry Point, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Carpenter, Lyle. will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the

Worlein Funeral Home, Rev. Merland Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill

Cemetery, Mona, Iowa.

Sadie Carpenter Luense

Sadie Carpenter Luense, who was living in Lyle, Minnesota, with her daughter, Mrs. O.J. Morensen, died on March 14, following a brief illness.

She was born in Osborne, Iowa, in 1881 and left this vicinity in 1944. : Services were held at the Worlein funeral home in Austin, Minnesota. Burial in Lyle, [Mona, Iowa] Minnesota.

Surviving are two sons, Cecil of Cedar Rapids and Dale of Redding, Calif.; two daughters, Rose Luense of Mason City and Mr. O.J. Mortensen of Lyle, Minnesota; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Delbert and Alva Carpenter, both of Strawberry Point, survive the deceased.

Many nieces and nephews also live in this vicinity.

** NOTE: Obituary was in error. Burial was at Mona, Iowa.
