Biography

When Jacob Carpenter was born in 1834 in Madison County, Alabama, his father, Thomas, was 38 and his mother, Anna, was 35. He had five sons with Elizabeth Jane Hanna between 1866 and 1874. Jacob died in 1874 in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, at the age of 40, and was buried in Pride, Louisiana.
