Herbert Carpenter died young.
Herbert Edgar Raymond Carpenter was born on 30 May 1874 at Raymond Terrace, New South Wales. His father was Tristan de Cunha Carpenter and his mother Hannah (Worboys) Carpenter. [1]
He died from drowning in the Hunter River at Raymond Terrace, New South Wales, on 20 April 1876. He was not quite two years old. [2] [3]
