His will is dated 2 May 1803 and proved on 4 April 1808 in Hopkinton, Rhode Island.[1] He mentions his wife Prudence, his son Daniel Carpenter, his daughters, Elizabeth Russell, Sarah Eagleton, Lydia Fenner, and Esther Crandall, and his son John Carpenter.

Carpenter-20965 and Carpenter-6062 appear to represent the same person because: Unsourced duplicate needs to be merged. Same parents and on spouse.
