When Elizabeth Carpenter was born about 1782/1785, her father, Nicholas, was 42 and her mother, Mary, was 40. She married Isaac CLEMANS on February 3, 1801. They had 10 children in 23 years. She died in 1853 in Henry, Indiana, at the age of 68, and was buried in Athens, Indiana
She is the daughter of Nicholas Carpenter and Mary Wolfe.
