Benjamin Carpenter (William, Joseph, William) was born 25 Mar 1696 at Oyster Bay, Musketa Cove, Queens, Long Island. He died on 26 Mar 1779 at North Castle, Westchester, New York. He was buried in Chappaqua, Monthly Meeting Cemetery, Rhode Island. He was the son of William Carpenter and Elizabeth, whose surname is unknown. Benjamin married Diana or Dinah Albertson on 30 Oct 1718 in Long Island, New York. Diana was born on 19 Mar 1698 at Long Island. She died on 9 Feb 1738 at Queens, Long Island. She was buried in Feb 1738 in Old Daniel Coles Burial Ground, Glen Cove, Long Island.
Benjamin also married Lydia Thorne. Lydia was born about 1696 in New York. She died on 25 Nov 1778 in New York.[3]
