Leonard was the twin brother of Lynda Carpenter (Carpenter-6301).
Private Simeon Carpenter, born 13 May 1759 and his wife Sallie Blanchard are honored for service during the American Revolution. Their son Leonard Carpenter married Matilda Reynolds.[1]
