Rachel Carr was probably the sister of my ancestor, Mary Carr, who married Asa Wayman in 1820 in Maury County and moved to southern Illinois, where she died about 1842. I have matches with no fewer than 34 descendants of Wilson and Rachel (Carr) Grimes. I also share DNA with descendants of Rachel and Mary's two brothers, John (b. c.1801, d. after 1870 in Lauderdale Co., AL) and James F. (b. 1806? d. 1848 Wayne County, TN).
