DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:

I'm suspecting that we have mixed up 2 Thomas Carr's. I think this one may have the wrong father. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/L718-YC9 vs. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/G92G-KVT. One was born in 1755 and was the son of Thomas and Rachel Carr. The older one was born in 1746 and was the son of John Carr and Elizabeth Cross?

Also, not sure why the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Carr-13302 match was rejected completely, the Rebecca child may belong to this Thomas?

Just observations
