Lilian possibly arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, aboard the Tainui on the 7th January, 1891. She then travelled to Port Chalmers aboard the Waihora. This vessel was operated by the Union Steamship Company and was built in 1883.
She married Andrew Bone on the 6th February 1908 at the house of Mr William Nicholas[1] in Anderson's Bay. The ceremony was conducted by the Officiating Minister D. Dutton. It was witnessed by Eliza Caroline Bone and James Mason Luke, both of Anderson's Bay.
She passed away during 1944 and was buried on the 22nd November at the Kopuatama Cemetery[2] in Stratford.
