Middle name possibly: Ashley, per death record of child Karron
Note: Karron's informant also says mother's maiden name is Armstrong, which is probably not accurate. But, it is possible Abraham's wife may have had a 2nd marriage.
Birth about 1803, in North Carolina, based on the following:
1) born about 1803 NC, per census in 1850, age 47
2) born about 1807 NC, per census in 1860, age 53
Death: between 1860 and 1870 census (average 1865)
Last known location: Marion Co. Alabama (1860 census)
Wife's location on next census: Franklin Co. Alabama (1870 census)
SIBLINGS
Abraham's siblings are assumed to be Mary, Matilda, & Temperance, based on:
1) Abraham, Mary, Matilda, Temperance, all married Bibb Co. AL in the 1830's.
2) Abraham Carr living 2 doors away from Mary (sister) in 1850.
3) Abraham lived next to Matilda (sister) in 1860.
4) Abraham officiated the marriages for 2 of Mary's children.
5) The marriage bondsman for Abraham Carr was Samuel DeFir.
6) The marriage bondsman for Matilda Carr (sister) was Samuel Defir.
Note: Abraham and Matilda both married into DeFir/DeFoor family.
Another assumed sibling is Charles W Carr, based on:
1) Charles purchased land in 1839 Bibb Co. AL (location of sibling's marriages)
2) Charles was the bondsman for 1839 marriage of Temperance (sister)
3) Charles Carr's 1850 census includes a Martha Carr b.1774 VA (mother)
4) Abraham Carr's 1860 census includes a Martha Carr b.1775 VA (mother)
An UNLIKELY possible sibling is Samuel W Carr (b.1823), based on:
1) Samuel moved his family from GA, to Marion Co. AL between 1850-1860
2) Samuel's marriage location & residence of GA, makes him an unlikely sibling
PARENTAGE
Father: unknown
Mother: assumed Martha, based on 1850/60 census of Abraham & Charles
Clues about Abraham's father, from his sibling's census:
1) In 1880, Charles says father born in France, and mother born in Virginia
2) In 1880, Matilda says father born North Carolina, and mother born Georgia
3) In 1880, Temperance says both parents were born in Virginia
4) In 1900, Samuel says both parents were born in North Carolina
Note: Abraham and Mary did not live to the 1880 census.
The birthplaces of the 5 siblings would indicate they were probably living in North Carolina from around 1805 thru 1816. However, this is not conclusive, as the siblings are inconstant on their birthplace.
Considering that 4 siblings married in Bibb Co. AL in the 1830's, then I would expect to see their parents in/around Bibb Co. AL on the 1830 census. The 1830 census, whether in AL or elsewhere, should have children the ages of the 4 siblings (5 siblings if including Charles). I cannot find an 1830 census to fit this criteria.
It is possible that parents were living in Mississippi on 1840 census.
1) Abraham has a child born 1840 in Mississippi.
2) Martha (mother) was in 1850 Mississippi, with Charles (brother)
Some genealogies hypothesize that Felix Carr is the most probable father.
I assume this is based on Felix's 1820 census in Charleston, South Carolina.
This 1820 census has 5 children the ages of "our" assumed 5 siblings.
It appears this is the same Felix Carr who has 1822 Letters of Administration in Charleston SC, which names his widow Martha.
Felix appears to have no other connections, besides children the same age, and a wife named Martha.

Hale County was created in 1867 from Greene, Marengo, Perry, and Tuscaloosa counties. In 1867, Hale and Bibb are bordering counties.
Thomas J Purtle is ?brother of George Purtle.
Thomas J Purtle, m.1833, Bibb Co. AL, to Mary Ann DeFir (sis-in-law of A A Carr)
Samuel Defir was the marriage bondsman for the Thomas J Purtle marriage.
Samuel Defir was the marriage bondsman for the Abraham A Carr marriage.
Sally Kerr (or CARR) is probably related, but not sure how.
More research is required.
The marriage folder for Sally & George consists of 5 pages. See FamilySearch. One of the pages mentions "Orphans Court". This would imply that Sally was under age 21 when she married, and her father was not living in 1820. It would also stand to reason, that Sally was living with her mother and siblings in/near Bibb Co. AL in 1820.
Notice that Bibb County was not created until 1822, which makes it difficult to research. Cahawba was Alabama's state capital in 1820, and is the county named on the marriage documents.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abraham A by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Abraham A:
