Married Katherine M. Soffer in 1915. It is unclear whether or not they had children.
As his surname suggests, Franklin "Carr" worked with automobiles. He was a race car driver and later a chauffeur to W. Freeland Kendrick. When Kendrick was elected Mayor of Philadelphia in 1924, Franklin Carr was appointed assistant superintendent of motor equipment in the Bureau of Highways. He held that position for 4 years; was forced to resign amid scandal in 1928.
Died in 1940.
