Elizabeth was born about March/April 1800 in Louisa County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Michael Carr and Hannah Puffenbarker. She passed away in June 1886 in Nodaway County, Missouri and Is buried in Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, Nodaway County.
Elizabeth married James Saunders on 28 January 1818 in Louisa County, Virginia.[1]
In 1860 James and Elizabeth were living in Nodaway County, Missouri with children Susan and Sanford. (Please note errors on the familysearch.org transcription of the census record: Elizabeth is listed as age 91, should be 61; both children are listed as George Saunders, should be Susan and Sanford.)[2]
