Research Note

The Findagrave bio for William is incorrect. William was born in New Jersey, not in Ireland. Documents from Daughters of the American Revolution show from his daughter Phoebe's lineage. The application was submitted in 1923 by Phoebe's granddaughter Phoebe. In 1923, Phoebe's son also submitted an application to the Sons of the American Revolution.
