Also posted on findagrave.com for McCellan Carroll "McClellen or McClellan Carol, also known as Mack Carroll was a full-blooded Cherokee Indian. He fell in love with a white girl named Elizabeth Barom. Her parents did not approve their marriage so they eloped and were married in Virginia. Their first child, Nancy was born May 5, 1822. Soon after that they moved to Tennessee. About 1827 they moved to Bond County, IL near Mt. Nebo Church."
