Biography

Catherine (Carroll) Hughes was born in 1820 in County Louth, Ireland, daughter of James Carroll (~1800 - ) and Margaret (Dolan) Carroll (~1800 - ).

She migrated to New South Wales in 1841 via the ship Joseph Cunard.^[1]

Catherine married John Hughes (1808 - 1853) on 4 Apr 1842 in St Michaels Church, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. Their children were:
