John was born on 3 May 1884 in Miller County, Missouri.[1] He was the son of John Carroll and Sarah Hull. He passed away in August 1963 in Pulaski County, Missouri and is buried in Dixon Cemetery, Dixon, Pulaski County. [2]
John married Emma Victoria McMillan about 1915 in Miller County, Missouri. A marriage record has not yet been located, however their oldest child, Clara M Carroll, was born about 1917 in Missouri.[3]
