Biography

Electra Francina's maiden name was Carter (see below). James Callier was her step-father and she was mistakenly enumerated as "Francina Callier" in the 1850 Talbot Co., GA, census.

24 Jan 1837, Elbert Co., GA - The will of James Carter names "Elector (sic) Francenia Carter and Lucy Ann Elizabeth Carter orphans of my son John James Carter" and "Elizabeth (J ?) Carter widow of my son John James Carter." ^[1]

15 Dec 1839, Talbot Co., GA - James Callier married her mother, Eliza J. Carter. ^[2]

13 Dec 1841, Talbot Co., GA - James Callier was appointed “guardian to Francesa E. F. and Lucy Anne E. Carter, orphans of John T. Carter, Decd.” Thomas Callier and Edwin Callier, securities. ^[3]
