Biography
Charles was born on 6 Feb 1876 in Ashe County, North Carolina. He died on 25 Nov 1940 in Bruce, Rusk, Wisconsin. He is buried at Island Lake Cemetery in Island Lake, Rusk, Wisconsin. [1]
In 1920, he is living in Big Bend, Rusk, Wisconsin with his wife, Ala Magnola (Reeves) Carter (1881-1964), and four children: Hazel (21), Herman (18), Minnie (15), Stanley (14), and Alva (12). [2] Needs profiles created for the four children included on the 1920 census.
