Agnes was born about 1525. She was the widow of (Unknown) Carter.
She married as his second wife, John Rogers a joiner of Moulsham, son of John Rogers a carpenter.[1] They had Mary, John, and Richard (the Rev. Richard Rogers of Wethersfield, Essex, England).[1]

Hi Lory, there seem to be several profiles representing Agnes the widow Carter of Essex, who married John Rogers. As her LNAB is unknown, I am suggesting that we merge the duplicates into Agnes Unknown Rogers. Do you think that sounds ok? The reference to the Smithfield place of death seems to be related to several trees that thought that Agnes was married to John Roger the Martyr, but this Agnes Rogers of Essex seems to be a different family. Kind regards
Carter-2023 and Unknown-333896 appear to represent the same person because: Both wife of John Rogers of Moulsham Essex. Date of birth is estimated on both profiles. Wife was a widow at time of marriage in 1541, with Carter being the name of the first husband. Child Mary is a daughter of John and Agnes. LNAB is Unknown. Thanks for reviewing.
Removed as wife of Bernard Fitz Rogers, as she seems to be a duplicate profile of the wife of John Rogers of Moulsham, Essex. John and Agnes had a daughter Mary. I'll propose the merge.
Carter-10371 and Unknown-333896 appear to represent the same person because: Both wife of John Rogers m 1641, and mother of Richard Rogers, Puritan Diarist. Widow when married. LNAB is unknown. Husband is only profile connected to Carter-10371, Thanks for reviewing.
Hi profile managers, do you have any sources for the children of Agnes Rogers? Also it seems that her husband Bernard Fitz Rogers may not be the correct husband as he would have been too young to be the father of some of her children. Thanks.
Carter-10371 and Carter-2023 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth details. From information in bio of Carter-2023, same date of marriage to Rogers. Carter-10371 and her husband are otherwise unconnected. Suggest she gets merged into the details of Carter-2023, and her husband is merged into details of Rogers-136. Thanks for reviewing
Hi profile manager, I am removing the project protection from this profile as it does not appear to meet the revised criteria for protection. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Project_Protecting_and_Merging for more information. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss. Thanks for caring for this profile. Gillian, Leader, England Project.
Thanks
A mother's death date (Carter-2023 died 1564) should not be before one of her children's birth dates (Rogers-144 born 11 Jul 1565) .
