Biography
George was born in England in 1824 to Thomas Carter & Mary Walton Medcalf. George married Isabella Walton in 1850. They left England (Lancashire) with son George after issues apparently relating to theft and settled in the Logan district of Queensland (probably late 1850's or early 1860's.)
George died in 1896[1] and is buried in Chambers Flat Cemetery Queensland.[2]
