Biography

Martha Carter was born on 5 October 1855 in Prince William County, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Carter and Annie Unknown.[1]

Martha married James A Cornwell 26 December 1872 in Prince William County, Virginia.[2]

Martha passed away before January 1890. James married his second wife Nettie J Jones in January 1890. He was listed in the marriage record as widowed.[3]
