Biography

Wesley was born in 1923. His parents were Wesley and Grace Carter. In 1930, the family was living in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.^[1] They were still there in 1940.^[2]

He appears to have married twice. He married first in 1945 to Martha Frances Sutton.^[3] He appears to have married a second time in 1983^[4] This was most likely to the woman named Gail, who is buried next to him.

He passed away in 1999.^[5] Burial was in the Devotion garden at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, Florida. ^[6] He shares a grave marker with his wife, Gail. However, there is no date of death for her so it is assumed she is still living. His marker is inscribed: PFC US Marine Corps World War II.^[7]
