In 1937, Wymer married Maymie Reynolds (born July 10, 1911, daughter of Daniel Boone Reynolds (1874-1949) and Mary Hampton (1874-1947)). • Cora Juanita Carter was born 02/17/1930 in Knox Co, KY and died 02/13/2017 in Oak Ridge, Anderson Co, TN. Cora married Wiley Greer Braden (born 10/31/1924 in Perry, KY and died 03/19/2002 in Oak Ridge, Anderson Co, TN, son of Dion G Braden (1902-1924) and Sue Burress (1900-1983))

• Paul Edward Carter was born 01/24/1939 in Harlan, KY and died 09/13/2012 in Knoxville, Knox Co, TN. Paul married Peggy Clay. Paul and Peggy had one son, Timothy Allen Carter. Timothy married Janet and they have a daughter, Hallie Mae Carter.
