Biography
Samuel C. Carter was born 31 January 1837 in Lenoir City, Roane County (now Loudon County), Tennessee. [1] He was the son of John P. Carter Sr. and Jane McCarrell. [2] He married Elizabeth Coker 04 April 1858 in Roane County, Tennessee. [3] [4] He passed away 11 March 1902 in Driftwood, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. He was interred in Riverside Cemetery, Burlington, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. [5] [1]
