Theodore L. Carter, son of James John and Susannah Benton (Lawrence) Carter,

He married Flora John Leach about 1868.

They were the parents of:

He entered the Confederate Army as a Private and his final rank was Corporal in the South Carolina Fourteenth Infantry Br-C[7][8]
