Biography
Jonas Carter (also found Proper First Name Jonah) was born on January 26, 1772 in Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts. His parents were Josiah Carter and Tabitha Howe. [1]
Jonah married Lucy Joslin on Mar 14, 1792 in Leominster, Massachusetts [2]
He came from Leominster to Jaffrey, New Hampshire about 1792. They had ten children. About 1800 he moved to Rindge, New Hampshire where he died on Feb 25, 1837. He is buried at Meeting House Cemetery in Rindge. [3]
