America passed away in January 1957, in Ware County where she had spent her entire life. She was buried with her husband in Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery, Dixie Union, Ware County, Georgia, USA.[2] NOTE: The FindaGrave Memorial says she died in 1927. This must be a typo because the gravestone in the photo shows the date as 1957.
