Agnes has previously been shown as wife of Bernard Rogers, one of the sons of the martyr John Rogers, with a marriage in Scotland in 1564. Bernard has also been shown as having married two other people in the same year, one in Scotland and one in Wittenberg. No sourcing has been given for any of these marriages. Very obviously it strains credibility to think that Bernard could have married three women, two in Scotland one in Wittenberg, in the same year. In the absence of anything to elucidate this, the alleged wives have been detached from Bernard after discussion in G2G.
For the same reason, Agnes has been detached from the previously shown children of her alleged marriage to Bernard, Barnard and Isaiah.
It is likely that there has been confusion with Agnes, who was the widow of someone last name Carter and who married John Rogers, grandfather of the fiery preacher John Rogers of Dedham, known as Roaring John Rogers. This was a completely different family from that of John Rogers the martyr, who was father of Bernard Rogers.
